When the animals have the opportunity to rest, to feel comfortable and spacious,to feel safe when they get up and when they sit down, without any obstacle infront of them and when the dimensions of the individual position are correct, thereforethe cows will respond and reward the producer by increasing the milkproduction.
The advantages of the resting positions are:
1) The cows are kept clean, the udder is kept clean,less time in parlor , better hygiene of the animals in order to avoid mastitis,therefore better quality of the milk with less germs and somatic cells.
2) There is calmness and order in the rest areas withoutbeing disturbed by other animals that are in verve.
3) The chances of injury among cows are zero.
4) Easier removal of the manure.
